Meet Our Doctor

Dr. Eduardo Herrera

MD, FACOG

Dr. Eduardo Herrera is a bilingual board certified OBGYN and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

After obtaining his medical degree from Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic he completed his residency in OBGYN at Creighton University, Omaha Nebraska. He was awarded “Outstanding Minimally Invasive Surgery Resident award”.

Dr. Herrera comes from a family of OBGYNs. His late grandfather was an OBGYN as well as his father and uncle and they are all a mayor inspiration to him.

After practicing for many years in Nebraska and Texas he opened Elite Obstetrics & Gynecology of South Texas. This practice is committed to provided the highest level of care through every stage of a women’s life.

His area of expertise includes the full scope of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is passionate about pregnancy care and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery including robotic surgery.

Dr. Herrera is happily married to his wife, Raquel, and they are proud parents of two, a daughter and a son. He loves spending time with his family doing everything that involves their favorite sport teams, music and art.
